About Our Team

Dr. Christina Boesch, DMD

Meet your dentist! My goal is to provide you with the very best cosmetic and restorative dentistry. I consider myself a Floridian, having moved to Pensacola, Florida when I was just ten years old. Pensacola offers the most beautiful white sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. I attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!!!) and obtained degrees in Microbiology, Nutrition, and Zoology. After taking some sculpture classes and talking with my family orthodontist, I realized dentistry was the perfect fit for me. My orthodontist and I had become great friends over the eight years I had braces. Yes, eight years!!! With the beach calling, I moved to Ft. Lauderdale and received my dental degree from Nova Southeastern University.

In order to provide you with the best care, I regularly attend continuing education courses. I was part of the University of Florida's Mastership in Dentistry program, spending one weekend a month in Gainesville being mentored by some of the top dentists worldwide. I also spend time in Seattle at the highly acclaimed Kois Center attending seminars to keep current with research and techniques. I strongly believe in science based/evidence based treatment, meaning that I am not going to use the latest fad materials that a sales representative brings in on a special deal. We only use products and materials that have scientific evidence of being the best. I take great pride in all the work I do and consider each day to be more like my art exhibit than a day at the office. You will have peace of mind knowing that even the smallest restoration will be handled with the greatest of care and precision. I do my best to give you a lot to smile about.

So what do all the letters after my name mean? DMD, Doctorate of Medical Dentistry, is the degree I received from Dental School.  FAGD stands for Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, which involves taking more than 1,100 hours of specific contuining education and passing a rigorous exam.  MAGD, Master of the Academy of General Dentistry is the highest designation and is held by less than 1% of all dentists in North America!

Outside of the office, I spend a lot of time volunteering within the community. I am a member of the Junior League of Greater Orlando (JLGO, an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism.) I get a lot of satisfaction working with children, educating them in nutrition and helping troubled children make better life choices. I also love to travel and be outdoors. If I ever leave Central Florida, it will be to be a ski instructor in Colorado!  I married to my husband, Clay, and we have one little redhead we are so proud to call our son....except for during the trantrums...he is 2 years old.

Dr. Priya Shah

Dr. Shah firmly believes in one sentiment and that is 'put the patient first'. This guiding principle has helped her build and maintain trusting relationships with her patients all throughout her journey in dentistry. Her aim is to not only to treat the dental disease but also to create an awareness for prevention and a positive dental attitude.

She completed her Bachelor's in Dental Sciences from Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai, India and residency in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal, India. After practicing for 2 years, love and marriage made her move to the US. Despite having been a practicing dentist, Pediatric Dentist, in India she decided to continue her passionate career and went back to dental school at Southern Illinois University- School of Dental Medicine. She, of course, excelled in school and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the dental honors society for academic excellence.

Dr. Shah likes to give back to community by participating in various outreach programs and giving presentations relating to trauma prevention and oral health awareness to parents of children with special needs and in schools. She has voluntarily provided care to under-privileged in rural India, volunteered at Greenville Free Medical center in Greenville, South Carolina and participated in Give Kids a Smile events.

Dr. Shah regularly attends continuing dental education courses to reinforce her knowledge in the fundamentals of dentistry and at the same time keep updated with the latest advances. She is a member of American Dental Association, Florida State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry.

In her free time, she loves to cook for her husband, Mehul...who willingly or unwillingly becomes the guinea pig. Together they enjoy outdoor activities like trekking, hiking or just walking the park. Being so close to the coast they like to spend most of their weekends at the beach!

Tia- Office Manager extraordinaire

Tia's desk is up front, however we can hear her laughing with patients all the way in the back! It often feels more like a social hour than work and would not surprise me if I found her one day passing out cocktails. You can rely on her for a wealth of information from dental questions to insurance concerns. She is also an excellent dental assistant. Tia is from Pennslyvania and has an adorable 7 year old daughter, Paige.

Catalina- Smiling Receptionist

Catalina is the smiling face that will greet you.  She is the kind of person you always want to be around. Her bubbly personality has a way of calming any anxiety you may have before entering the office.  Catalina is bilingual, having been raised in Columbia, South America.  She is madly in love with her two children, Lily ( a cat) and Bryson (a dog).  Ask her to see pictures...she only has 1 or 2...or rather multiple albums!

Latricia (aka lil' L) - Lead Dental Assistant

Latricia is our resident clean freak. Every time I turn around, she has cleared away something I just set down and is sterilizing the area. Sometimes it drives me a little nuts, but I am happy to know that the office is unbelievably clean. Latricia is also the pen thief of the office. We have to pat her down at the end of each day. She has been my left two hands for seven years now.  When you meet her, you will not believe that she has 3 kids! Yes, three!  Hana, Project, and Lyana.

Bernith (aka "Bernie, aka "B") - Dental Assistant

Her name may vary from day to day, but her smile and kindness are unwavering.  B is a great dental assistant and hopes to replace me as the dentist one day as well!  B went to the University of Kentucky on a track scholarship!  So if you see her running around the office and doing an occasional leap here and there, you know why. B is bilingual, having grown up in Haiti.  She taught me a few words in Creole, but it always makes the patients giggle...hmmm what am I actually saying???

Karen- Dental Hygienist

Karen is definitely one of a kind.  She has the absolute best one liners and is constantly coming up with new ones!  So if you want a good laugh, stop in to say "hi" to Karen.  She is by far the best hygienist I have employed and that's not to be taken lightly.  She is meticulous about her cleanings and truly wants to help you keep your teeth for life. Karen is married to her long time love, John, and they have two children, Heidi and Nick.  Nick is playing collegiate football in California and Heidi graduated from college and is living in South Florida.
